Volunteer. WE NEED YOU!
Our volunteers are part of our extended family and are essential to giving our patrons a memorable experience. Volunteering is a great group activity for friends, family and social groups as well as a good
way to meet friendly people.
Work with Patrons OR Behind the Scenes
Multiple opportunities to volunteer throughout the year.
You can work with our valued members and patrons, such as ticketing assistant, ushering, or summer camp assistant;
• OR •
work behind the scenes such as costuming, set design, lighting & sound, stage management, backstage production assistant, and hair & makeup.
• OR •
become a part of one of our organization teams such as planning, finance, grants, beautification, public relations, sponsorship, hospitality, audio/visual and education/outreach.
Ushers & Assistants
TIME COMMITMENT
Typically one hour prior to curtain and 20 minutes after the show has ended.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Must be at least 16 years old to usher alone.
Students ages 12-16 may usher with adult supervision when children are involved in the performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Taking tickets, seating patrons, handing out playbills, working concessions and greeting.
Backstage
Work behind the scenes!
We’re looking for volunteers to help crew shows. Volunteering backstage is a great way to get theatre experience and see what it takes to put on a show.
TIME COMMINTMENT
Varies, depending on production needs.
AGE REQUIREMENT
Must be at least 16 years of age.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Opportunities could include running sound or lights, moving scenery or setting props.
Varies by production.
