For your tax-deductible donation of just $200 per seat, you can become a seat sponsor and commemorate your gift with an engraved plaque with your choice of inscription that will be permanently featured on a seat. Patrons visiting the theatre will see your inscription and appreciate your support for the Spanish Trail Playhouse.

About Our Seating Drive

The Spanish Trail Playhouse, Washington County’s only all-volunteer community theatre, is unique in its offerings of live quality entertainment for all theatre and music lovers. The Playhouse has become well-known for its exceptional presentation of plays and musicals. Throughout the past twelve production seasons, we have unfortunately become aware of the limitation and discomfort of our current auditorium seating. It is our goal to provide our patrons with a comfortable as well as entertaining experience within our venue. To accomplish this goal, we must replace out current auditorium seating.

The current seats of the Spanish Trail Playhouse auditorium date back to the school’s renovation in the 1980s and were sized for student use and educational purposes. In order to replace these seats with high quality auditorium seating designed for the comfort for our patrons, we have contracted with Irwin Seating Company. The total project will cost approximately $45,000. Irwin Seating Company is a leading manufacturer of quality seating all over the world. The new seats will continue to serve our guests as the theatre continues to bring arts and culture to Washington County.
