The Spanish Trail Playhouse 2026 Summer Theatre Camp runs Monday–Friday, June 8–12 (5:30–8:00 p.m.) and Saturday, June 13 (8:30 a.m.–2:00 p.m.).
Campers will train in acting, improvisation, movement, singing, and musical theatre dance while rehearsing a one-hour show, MTI Revue: Pure Imagination. Pure Imagination is a brand-new revue featuring songs from across MTI’s Broadway Junior® collection, including favorites from Seussical, Shrek the Musical, Beauty and the Beast, and Frozen, making it a perfect introduction to musical theatre for new performers.
Roles are assigned on Monday, and students will memorize lines and songs, learn choreography, and receive vocal coaching. The musical will be performed twice on Saturday, June 13, at 2:00 p.m. and 3:45 p.m. The camp includes moderate physical activity and promises a fun, energetic theatre experience.
NOTE: Because the Saturday performance is an essential part of the camp experience, all campers are required to attend both the full camp and the Saturday show. Campers who are unable to participate in the performance will not be allowed to enroll.
-
Throughout the week, campers will be working toward bringing a fully produced (staged, choreographed, costumed, scenically designed) musical to realization on the stage. In order to prepare for the show, campers will report for rehearsal at 8:30am on Saturday, June 13th and will remain at the theatre until the final performance concludes.

Each Camper will be given 2 complimentary tickets for family/friends/community to one of the 2 scheduled performances.Additional Ticket Purchase
All other tickets are $10.00 per attendee and can only be purchased at the box office on the day of the performance - Saturday, June 13th. -

-
Campers must be at camp each day to experience the full experience, but we recognize that unforeseen circumstances may occasionally prevent campers from attending camp. However, if attendance issues start to impact a camper's ability to fulfill their role, roles will be reassigned and camper will be dismissed from camp.
Campers who miss choreography or staging sessions will not be included in those specific parts of the end-of-camp production. Additionally, any camper who misses a camp rehearsal without prior notification will not be permitted to participate in the camp performance. Camp tuition is non refundable.
